Before America, Thanksgiving was all about eating Turkey. My family would be invited for dinners and my mom's birthday was the day after that. So all in good timing, the turkey and cranberry sauce and gravy would be all out.

 

So naturally, I assumed that Thanksgiving = Turkey, which is only half true.

 

But anyway, after my second Thanksgiving dinner, things start to change. First of all, it's a time for relaxing. Second of all, good family = good Thanksgiving. Things never really change.

 

The Newbury's were nice enough to have me over. Not only for the dinner, but also for the sleepover.

 

Played 3 or 4 games of chess, and 4 or 5 games of checkers after not playing for a long time. Checkers is still my strongest suite, along with keeping silent.

 

Anyway, had a long chat with Mr Newbury, which is always nice. I don't always enjoy many things, but I do enjoy conversations. There's always some exchange of hearts going on and you get to know a person more.

 

Meg, I finally got to touch Cleo as well without getting clawed at.Did it while she rested on your dad's lap.
